School for Sightness Girls at Jammu :- The Jammu & Kashmir
Branch of the federation has been running a residential school
for sightness girls at Jammu. Here the free education up to
primary standard with free accommodation is being provided to
the blind girls.

Rajiv Gandhi Braille Library at Rai Barely (U.P.) :- The rai
Barely Unit of this federation is running one Braille library
at Rai Barely, U.P. Initially the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation helped
the project but now it is being run with its own resources.

Kanpur Blind School :- Running under the supervision of NFB
Kanpur Unit, the school is providing education to the blind
children uo to 8th with free residential facilities. We have
planning to expand it in near future.

National Federation of the Blind, Haryana :- Established in
the year 1984 the Haryana state Branch is engaged in seeking
suitable employment for the blind in the state. The branch has
to over three hundred blind persons.

National Federation of the Blind, U.P. :- The U.P. State Branch
of federation is also engaged in seeking employment for the
blind in the state. It set a record of having placed above five
hundred blind in various Govt. Offices.
