Dear Friends,

I am proud to inform you that the National Federation of the Blind has been in the service of blind and the disabled for the last 34 years with the slogan of "self-help". As a result of our continuous struggle we have been successful to place the blind in respectful position in the society. Further the federation has also been successful in persuading the sighted persons in the society to come forward and extend their full cooperation to the federation in its endeavors to make the blind self dependent and a contributory citizen in Nation building. It is due to federation's efforts that today the blind has been able to get their right of reservation in many areas such as Education, Training and Employment.

The Federation is doing its best efforts not only for ensuring the smooth running and expansion of existing projects but for starting new schemes to make the blind able to complete with the normal people in the society.

To ensure the smooth running of our activities, we have started a new programme called "Special Programme for the welfare of the Blind" and urge upon you all to join this noble cause and also encourage the other persons in the society to join this programme by paying desired contribution in the form of Donation and getting incentive against your contribution.

We also assure that it will attract no legal hi-tech since you are donating for a noble cause for which the Federation is issuing you a valid receipt against the amount donated by you.
